Rackspace is currently experiencing a webmail outage, and is actively working to correct it.  They do not have an ETA at this time.  E-mail (message delivery, etc.) is still fully functional.  It is just the web access portion that is down.  Customers may continue to check / send e-mail by using

RackSpace was having issues with slow response times and failed e-mail logins  this morning.  They report that the problems have been corrected as of 9:15. staff will continue to monitor the issue to make sure that it is resolved.


We would like to thank all of our loyal customers for their patience this week during the phone outages we were experiencing. Our telephone service is now fully functional and our BTC technicians will continue to monitor the system closely for any issues.


As you may be aware, we've had phone issues both yesterday evening and again today.  The problem is not with Baraga Telephone, it's on several AT&T circuits which is making it difficult for us to make calls into and out of the area.


I'm sure by now you've heard about the Google Docs phishing scam that spread like wildfire yesterday.   If you happen to get an email from someone asking you to open a Google Doc they want to share with you, make sure it's legitimate before opening it.


The email below is NOT from or Baraga Telephone.  If you have received this email, simply delete it.  If you received the email and clicked on the link, you should run a scan on your computer as well as changing your email password.
