Network traffic, activity, performance information, and equipment information monitored or collected by up.net is done so for the sole purpose of reasonable network management purposes.

up.net is required to comply with relevant laws, regulations and judicial orders. Information covered under this Privacy Policy, as well as other categories of information, may be disclosed to third parties if up.net determines, in its sole discretion, that such a disclosure is necessary or required. up.net may also disclose this information if, in its sole discretion, such a disclosure is necessary or required to protect our interests or the interests of our customers. up.net may also disclose this information in connection with the sale of our business.

Baraga Telephone Company understands and values the inherent privacy rights of all people. 

  1. We may collect personal information regarding phone number(s), address(es), phone line(s), credit/credit card information, and demographic information.
  2. In order to custom tailor your web experience we may collect information from web site use including, but not limited to, IP address, time and duration of web site visit, page(s) viewed, duration of page views, web brower(s) version(s), operating system version(s). We may employ the use of web cookies and web beacons to customize the web site experience.
  3. Under court order we release confidential customer information.
  4. We do not collect information from anyone under 18 years of age.
  5. We do not attempt to attract web users under the age of 13 years.
  6. Customers requesting information in person are required to provide a government issued photo ID.
  7. Customers requesting information over the phone or Internet are required to provide an account password.
  8. If a password is forgotten the customer must correctly answer a verification question.
