Rob likes to play sports some of which include football, hockey, baseball, and basketball. He is tall, has blond hair and brown eyes. He lives in the town of Crystal Falls, Michigan. During the summer he goes fishing and travels. He is currently a honor role student at Forest Park Elementary. When he graduates, he would like to go to Michigan Tech University and become a technical engineer. He has one sister and two brothers. Rob is thirteen years old. His mom is going to Suomi College and his dad makes doors and cabinets. He has two dogs named Rosebud and Buff and a cat named Cinder. Rob has many friends and relatives. His dream occupation would be to become a football player for the Green Bay Packers. His teacher is Mrs. Henry. His dream vacation would be to go to Sweden where he would ski, fish, and learn the Swedish language. He listens to Rap and Hard Rock.


Mountain Lion

Physical Description: Mountain Lions are tawny, with a small head, and along tail with black tip at the end. The colors have been said to be golden, yellow, cubs have black dots on chest, tail, rib area. The average height is five to seven feet long, three to three and one half feet tall. Mountain Lions weigh on average one hundred sixty to one hundred eighty pounds. The heaviest ever recorded was two hundred thirty-seven pounds. The stride is sixteen to twenty-five inches, straddle is fifteen to seventeen inches.

Diet: Food and dietary supplements include rabbits, squirrels, small rodents, and deer. As you can tell the mountain loin is strictly carnivorous. Hunts at night , when food becomes scarce in day light.

Habitat: The Mountain Lion lives in forests, wetlands, deserts, and mountains. They choose to stay in caves, holes, fallen trees that form protection, and other animal homes. Their home territory about Four to six miles.

Behavior: Gestation of the Mountain Lion takes six to eight weeks. The creature is mostly nocturnal, however some may act differently. The male and female Mountain Lions mate during the summer months. The kits will stay with the mother for two to three years. The cougar hunts at night unless food becomes scarce in daylight.

Interesting Info: The Mountain Lion has many different names, it is known as, Painter, Panther, Cougar, Mountain Lion, and puma.
