The Early Bird Gets (to See) the Comet ...

Comet McNaught isn't expected to dazzle the pre-dawn skies with bright, giant tails reminiscent of the previous Comet McNaught (of 2007). It will, however, give you early risers a reason to go outside and scan the area around Perseus with a pair of binoculars - odds are you'll be treated to seeing the green-gassed, Jupiter-sized head and coma of Comet McNaught.

Through the month of June look in the northeastern sky before dawn.
